[quote="Airborne Butters":30dd7]So I basically fucked up alot of my highschool career with excessive absences and whatnot. My guidance counsler told me of a program where I come to school two periods a day and take a practice GED test, then go take a real GED test. Seems kinda the best thing to do in my situtation

My question is: How bad will having a GED affect me in the long run? Will most jobs or colleges accept it? I asked around and most said yes...[/quote:30dd7]

A GED should not have any negative effects for you in the long run. You can still get into college with it, most employers will accept it and the military will as well.
