Someone who is a good player and uses the shotgun will kill lots. Someone who is a crap player and uses the shotgun will kill a few.

It's that simple.

The shotgun gives no one a God-given right to get easy kills, unless you allow them to.

I don't bother using the shotgun now, anymore, 'cos I got bored of being told I was lame for using it when I'd rack up 25+ kills a game (objective).

So I switched to the SMG and still got 25+ kills a game.

It doesn't matter if you're actually a very good player, if you use the shotgun you get branded lame.

What crap.

You still have to aim the bloody thing, and it limits you to close combat fighting. If an enemy is mid-distance from you, it's virtually impossible to kill them easilly unless they are crap and don't move.

Try watching someone who truly is a bad player use the shotgun and you'll see what I mean.
