And you seriously think that the USA and the UK could have defeated Germany by it's self without the USSR? You know that only 33% of Germany's casualties came against western powers? And saying basically that the winter was the reason the russians won is a joke and western propaganda meant to belittle the forces of the Communists. I don't think the Russian winter would have stopped the germans in Kursk in summer 43. The russians possible had the potent airforce in the war, and the tank troops were also excellant as the war dragged on.[/quote:1da26]

The Allies had air superiority, had neutralized the Kriegsmarine, were pushing the German Wehrmacht back on all fronts(minus some setbacks), and would have reached Berlin before the Russians, however Eisenhower decided to let the Russians have Berlin(which they certainly deserved as a "pound of flesh").

Again, I'm not trying to belittle the Russian forces, I'm stating facts. It's really a moot point, the war is over.
