You must take into account Miscguy, that that is the opinion of one Iraqi... Aswell as generalising all anti-war protesters, people here are now generalising all pro-war emigrated Iraqi's as being that one guy...

I mean, take my hat 'n my coat, there are many, many emigrated Iraqis who are really concerned about their families still over there...

Now, as we all know... Personal connections with events will sway your opinion over a matter much more than if it was just in a social context...

To explain, if you hear about a bunch of drug addicts who have OD'd and are dying in intensive care, you might be like "Meh"... However...

If one of those drug addicts was your brother or sister, child, or cousin perhaps... you would be much more affected, and would be much less passive-dismissive...
