His low score, and high-deathcount is really just to lull his enemies into a false sense of security...and THEN he will spring his trap.

Unfortunately the round usually runs out of time when the other players are properly lulled, and he must build the trap all over once again.

By god that MUST be it. Almost Hannibal Lecter like in it's deviousness.
