Hey buddy...

Maybe this will help

While using Pakscape, extract the requested skin file you need to work on ..

work on it and save it ... after that is complete , import it again to the Pakscape and overwrite the existing tga file which is in the Pakscape...
Sometimes people think that if you just double click on the file , and save you work on that same file opening , it will save it in the file located in the pk3. That's not true...

btw - verify always that you are saving it again as a .tga
