I'm taking a US History and Computer Science I AP test. I think the hardest thing will be writing the DBQ (for history) in 45 minutes.[/quote:dd851]
exactly...We did an in-class practice DBQ yesterday and I think i did pretty well on it. It was about dropping the Atomic bomb on Japan. BUT, the thing that sucks is we won't know the time period for the DBQ. Every previous year, they gave a 50 year time period---not this year; we're the guinnie pigs with their new method. I'm pretty good if i know what the time will be. But i know i won't be able to remember any key terms on May 9th. cry:[/quote:dd851]

Weird..so did we. I got an 85 on mine. I was against the idea that the bombs were dropped to intimidate the Soviets, but I didn't use enough documents and lost several points. She pulled a cheap one on us and posted the documents around the room, allowing us 1.5 minutes to read each one. (instead of giving us a packet) And that's not enough time to read the passage and jot down good notes about it... Anyways, I've heard rumors (from my teacher) that the topic this year will be on modern times, possibly Vietnam.
