There have been several Gurkha Regiments within the British Army since the Empire days. The badge shown is off the Royal Gurkha Rifles. These guys, born and bred in the high country of Nepal fought in all theatres during World War 2. Much feared by the Germans, mostly in part due to their famous 'kukri' or 'kukhuri' (whichever you prefer) curved blades, designed specifically for removing the heads of Unfortunate adversaries. This meant their reputation on the battlefield often preceded them. Its rumoured, by many, that certain Argentine units on the Falkland islands surrendered their defended positions as soon as word 'got out' that these guys were moving in. They were known for being short and stocky, I dunno what difficulty this brings to a potential 'skinner'. Comments welcome.
