Chapter One
The Sighting

December 22, 1962
A Secret U.S.S.R. Space Station - 0525

"A clear image...yes, that's it...Bingo!"

The radioman was listening carefully as the reporters viligantly watched the photos provided from the recon satellite.

"Hengyang, China, vector 280, sir," the officer announced.
"Good, I'll be waiting for another transmission. The stupid Americans will never find us. We'll find the perfect hideout." a KGB General snarled.

His second-hand officer always found a way to solve things. He was the wise one. "Do you think it is right to be hiding this from the government? I mean, we have all these satellites up here and they know nothing about them. We've even developed hi-tech transports."

"No, George. Under no circumstances must the government have an idea of what we are doing now. This is top secret, you understand?" the General demanded.
"Yes sir." the Officer replied.
The General turned forward. "Good, now let's pack things up. The damn AK-47's will fry up. Come on."

"Emergency! Emergency! Emergency! Spaceship at quadrant X320,000-Y210,000!!! It has taked out our shuttle! Bring the E3-2RS down immediatly!" a radioman shouted.
"What? What in the cold hell is going on here?!" the General screamed.
"The shuttle was blown out of orbit by an unidentified spaceship! It may be hostile!"
"What does it want?"
"I don't know, but we better act quick!"

3 officers ran out the door. There was silence. A scientist walked up to the exit doorway. He peered through to see what had happened. Then he turned around.

"The men...they're dead."
An officer shouted out in fear, "LOOK OUT!!!"

A strange creature pushed the doors down. The scientist tried to escape, but the monster grabbed him. The KGB General, along with his officers, pulled out their guns and opened fire on the creature. The bullets did not penetrate it. The creature ripped the scientist apart and smashed everything. The general and his officers made a run to escape. None of them made it. Their guns fell to the floor. The monster puched the screening where the photo's were produced and exposed.

The secret station was never found by any investigators or scientists. The government had absolutly no knowledge of the base. The mystery was never solved...yet.

"How do you like this cheesecake, Ryan?" Martin Gay, a news reporter, was out with his friend, Ryan W. Clark, an Air Force Lieutenant.
"Delicious. Say, whatever did happen to that guy in the horse Poncho?"
"Who cares?"
Both of them laughed hard.
"It's like cinnimon." Ryan detailed his cheesecake.
"Oh no, not that again! Leave the damn cheesecake alone, Clark, or I'll call the police." Martin laughed as he spoke.
"Oh yeah, and I'll call the Secret Service to tell them that you raped the President! Hahahaha!"
"Shut your mouth." Martin looked down.

They walked outside of the building. They sat on the curb where someone had messed up trying to skate on.

"How'd it go with you and Jessica?" Ryan asked.
"Not so well. We broke up." Martin had that sad look on his face.
"Broke up?! What the hell did you do, throw up on her wardrobe or something?" Ryan seemed as though he were joking around with his best friend's loss. Martin didnt seem to notice. He relied with nothing.
"I-I outta get going now. Later, Clark." Martin walked away.
"Later, Chief!" Ryan turned around headed toward the bus. It took him about a mile. The U.S. National Botanical Garden would be the perfect place to visit, he thought to himself. "Might as well give it a try."

Clark walked down the road.
