my grandad was in the fallschirmjager during ww2, and the stories he told, he in the the hg division, and made 13 jumps, and was captured in carentan.
P.S. he's not a Nazi, like most of the wermacht dring ww2, and wermacht, is not the army. here ya go HEER-army KRIEGSMARINE- navy LUFTWAFFE - air force, VOLKSSTURM -home guard WAFFEN SS - armed schultz staffel
