I have been able to host with my Linksys router. You need to go into setup on router, click "advance tab" on top right, click on forwarding, enter 12200 in left port and 12203 in right port. Select "both" and what IP the host computer is set up with. Another option under router setup is to click advanced, DMZ, and fill in IP. Only difference is all ports are exposed to internet.
