Chapter Two
The XB-034 Stardust

March 23, 2001
Area 51, Nevada - 1326

"I'm sure this'll work. Carrying these will definitly do the job," said the plane engineer. "With this new invention, we'll be able to explore the universe. Oh, the unlimited possibilities..."

Ryan walked around dumbfounded. He'd never think sneaking into a secret base would open his mind to a new challenge. However, he was still thinking about that eerie nightmare that he'd experienced ten years ago. It wasn't as funny now as he'd thought then. Clark shook his head; he walked over to the odd looking spacecraft that was being repaired.
"What is it?" Clark asked to man, who was doing something with the new machine.
"It's a spaceship."
Clark felt annoyed for some reason. "A little more specific?"
The man turned around in dismay. "A spaceship that can travel across the solar system. That better?"

Clark was shocked again. Then he had thought about the Scientific Observations Section in S-10, Ch. 1 of the Life Science University Exam of Harvard. He knew that this guy was nuts and that no spaceship had ever flown that far before.

"Impossible. There's not enough energy for this piece of rusty metal to even climb above the Earth's atmoshpere," Clark shot out.
"This is a new plane. We've been keepin' it secret for about 50 years. The government knows nothing about it. It should be complete in about another 8-12 years or so," the man said. "then we'll have to steal the necessary data from SS-020 Mars in order to accomplish the mission."
Then Clark blurt out, "What about Lunar?"
"You mean SS_gaia_MOON - F.0210? That's been in the files since 1969. Of course, after planting that secret camera into the A.11 pad, we were able to retrieve information very easily," the man replied. "Oh, to thank technology for serving us well." He gave a slight laugh, then he reluctantly dropped his bag.

Clark couldn't help but to notice that something was sticking out of the back pocket. It looked like a gun. An HK5! Yeah, that's it! I've seen those before! This guy must be up to no good. Clark thought to himself.

"Um, excuse me sir, not to be rude or anything," Clark made a sudden giggle and pulled out the gun. "But I think I saw this in your bag!"
The man was really shocked. What an idiot! What kind of stupid---- would go running around taking stuff out of people's bags? he thought. "Alright, hand it to me now!"

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that. You are not allowed to have this. Under the state law, you must own a legal-" the man pulled out a screwdriver and swung it at Ryan's face. "What the ---- were you thinking as you walked into that ----ing door, huh? Are you some kind of mindless, inconsiderate little punk who can't tell whether or not he should be messin 'round with adults who've got some work to do? Tell ya what, punk! Why don't you just get the hell out of my facility and we'll work this out on our own!"

Another engineer appeared to have an AK-47 holstered in his jacket. He took it out and started firing on Clark. Ryan dodged and his under the active convayerbelt. He had to think of something. What a dumbass ----ing mistake to have been made during a survelliance mission in Area 51. How could I have been so dumb?! Clark thought. He pulled out a hose he'd seen before in the CHeM.SL/B cabinet. He grabbed it and tugged hard, as hard as he could until he got it. He sneaked up behind the guard and strangled him. Then he wired to HQ. "These aren't the normal A51/N workers. Terrorists. I think they're Russian; maybe part of the Former U.S.S.R. Organization. Take that to HQ, will ya? Thanks, Martin."

Yes, it was them. The U.S.S.R. Organization, trying to get back at the Americans. No kidding, thought clark.

Clark got a signal call. "Lt. Ryan Clark, we're on our way! The AH-64 is currently airborne! We'll have you out of there in no time!" the phone had voiced out. It was Martin.

However, he wasn't out of the mess yet. It would take at least an hour for the chopper to get there. How fast are Apaches, anyway? Clark asked himself. "Dammit! I gotta kill these sons of -----es! They're holdin' back my barbecue time!" Clark came hysterically running outside. He picked up a rifle laying on the ground and shot at every moving object he could see. There was no time to think of the innocent. He must get out of there. He must inform Colonel Harver.

Finally, the chopper came with two other transport copters. The Apache dropped smoke bombs everywhere and the pilot had given Ryan the coords. There was little left to do now but to run away.

"Come back here you stupid mother----er!!! I'll get you next time!" the repariman yelled to him.
Clark waved back from the sky 20 feet above. "Then I'll see you sometime!"

Meeting in CTP, Los Angelos - 0500

"No, but bombing a tower so instantaneously would be tragic. I'm tellin' ya!"
"EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT THE ---- JUST HAPPENED THERE IN NEW YORK WHEN MY WIFE WAS ----ING BOMBED BY THE ----ING TERRORISTS!"
"Calm down, sir!"
"I'll tell you one thing. Just wait till I get my hands on those bloodsucking-"
"Alright, we need to organize a new meeting. I just don't know how we're gonna solve anything if we keep panicing."
