well this list was based on my own tastes, obviously. I forgot some too.

But Kelly's Heroes did not make the list cause it really isnt a WWII movie. It is about a bunch of guys after some gold and happens to be set during wartime; and could have been set in the Civil War (in fact it is a lot like The Good The Bad and The Ugly) or in the Roman Legions. (my old acting teacher, David Hurst, plays the german who tells them about the gold in the beginning).

Never So Few did not make the list cause it is not a very good movie, with poor production levels, etc. Maybe I am prejudice because I read the book years ago and liked that a lot. Basically Sinatra bought the rights to it and insisted on staring in it.
