Actually, Wilkins, the Oz national "soccer" -cough- football -cough- team is probably the best it has ever been in footballing history.

Kewell, Swarzcher (or however you spell his name - da goalie) and Viduka are all quality players, for a start.

They aren't succesful at the moment but they are as close as they'll ever be to qualification for a major tournament.

Cricket they own, but there's not much competition in that game.

Rugby they are the best as well, although not as dominant as they (and the Kiwis) have been in the past.

I've never followed the AFL but I have watched a few games in my time and I must say it's a really enjoyable game to watch.

There's just zero coverage over here (unless you're into nocturnal viewing).

It's one of the more exciting and intricate (skillful) team games I've seen, though.
