I saw a program a while back talking about this situation of a school having a white and black Prom, it might have been this particular school. What both races said was they wanted it that way because they both had different music interests, social interests, personality interests, and hell, just about different everything. Not that everybody did, but both races said most felt that way about it. The case I saw neither race said the opposite race couldn't come, just the theme, music, culture would be suited to match that race's general interests. At any rate it is stupid and I'm sad to say it's in the south. Segregation does not exist in the south like some of you may think.
