I never understood how supposedly intelligent people could believe in such
an obvious lie as "Heaven and Hell": I find it unfathomable that a supreme
being capable of creating and encompassing physical reality would "reward"
some of his creatures for "good behavior" (what is that?) and banish others
to an eternity of suffering based on actions commited on Earth; keep in mind
that for a big period of your life, you are "taught" how to act, react, et cetera...

I could have a field day with this one, but suffice to say that on top of having
been written by men seeking to enthrall the populace of the time, heaven and
hell were created to keep people in line; controlled. So were the ten "rules":
only one is necessary and it is the golden rule: do unto others what you would
like done unto you, and conversely, do not do to others what you wouldn't want
done to yourself. Simple rule, happens to work in most cases.

If a supraintelligent entity is behind the creation of our world, you can bet
that reincarnation is involved, development of intellect is prime and finally,
Heaven and Hell would not be found on other planes of consciousness: you
are living in both right now. Earth can be both...
