could this possibly be a cooling problem since it happens a few mins after you start playing?
Try taking the case off and pointing a house fan right at the guts and see if this helps. I know it helped me with my computer, if this does help, get a few more internal fans, I have two 7" fans, one blowing right on my vid card.
