Did the game freeze for 5 mins to 15 mins then comes back alive or it just froze and you have to reboot? Or freeze and you can still switch back to your OS?

I would start the game with +developer 1 and take a look at the console (if possible at all) when it freezes. It remains open in the background even while you're playing and should give you some very informative error messages. I have no idea if logging console events is possible though.

You can also try posting at the Board of Developers and see if 2015 can help you.
