no the story says that Gerardi's plane was shot down and he was fished out by the gusy in the boat, so he joined them.

I have WWII GI and while it is pretty cheesy, it's still good for something based on the Duke Nukem engine.

I think some of the missions would be pretty cool to remake as MOHAA missions
