oOo:

I think I juse made me even more confused, but good job soli.

There are a couple things I take away from briefly looking that over.

1) The Architect is not human. He refers to "your nature", and asid he required a lesser mind to develop the matrix because he was striving too hard for perfection.

2) Neo, or someone in his exact position has done the same thing 5 times before since he says "Quite right. Interesting, that was quicker then the others. " That was pretty obvious though.

3) "The function of the One is now to return to the source allowing a temporary dissemination of the code you carry reinserting the prime program after which you will be required to select from the matrix 23 individuals, 16 female 7 male, to rebuild Zion."

This is almost like what the key maker was talking about. remember he was killed and said he had served his purpose, Neo's purpose is to get to the source and restart life, however he choses trinity. there's all that talk about choice. It must be concluded that the previous Neo's chose to save Zion instead f Trininy, otherwise they would not be there doing this all over again...right?

"Your 5 predecessors were by design based on a similar predication a contingent affirmation that was meant to create a profound attachment to the rest of your species facilitating the function of the One. While the others experienced this in a very general way your experience is far more specific, Vis a vie love."

Its pretty obvious that the others were not in Love, and therefore coped better with sacrificing thier friends in order to save zion.

So all in all Neo choses to save trinity and sacrifice zion and everyone attached to the matrix, from what we can assume. right now, this doesn't make sense to me. It seems like Neo made the wrong choice. if he goes to the source, humans can live on etc. When he saves trinity he basically said screw 6 billion people and went to save 1. Now from what we can tell there are only a handfull of people left. Maybe 10 or 12 on that one ship.

I don't think this is feasble for the movie. there must be some catch, and in some way the humans will survive and the machines will die...right now it doesn't look that way though.
