The Quake 1 engine that Half-life used was fairly old then, and yet Valve managed to completely re-create and innovate with it.
Scripting isn't a new thing, no. The scripting that I've seen in MoH isn't innovative, no.
Tell you what is, though. The atmosphere created on the set-piece missions.
That is wonderful.
The rest looks to be an average run-of-the-mill shooter.
I am not looking forward to the SP as much as I am the MP.
The points that MoH isn't innovative are fairly true, so far as I can see. It hasn't got anything in it that is new.
Doesn't bother me. I am still looking forward to it.
Then again the initial poster on this thread said they are, too.
Yet again some points raised that some would consider good. But always initiates the flamers.
