I suppose some of your points do have merits, Slambertus, and they are your opinions, some of which many don't share, but I have to disagree with you when making a comparison to RtCW - A really bad game in my opinion.

When anticipating the return of the franchise that more or less started FPS there's bound to be hype and excitement. While RtCW looked quite pretty, the gameplay was shit - absolutely horrible level design, crap weapons, standard audio, boring and near pointless cutscenes, and worst of all - a rediculous plot with an unintimidating end boss.

I didn't like the game. I was utterly disappointed. On it's own, it was OK, but for a Wolfenstein, not good. Think of the potential they had.

Anyway, as for MOHAA - I love this game! I've played it from start to finish and I loved nearly ever mission (too many stealth missions, if you ask me). I mean, what did you expect? Did you honestly believe there would be a huge revolution in gameplay? MOHAA is a nice balance of historical realism and arcade fun. And thank God they left out a plot. The game is basically a string of more or less unrelated missions. I mean, in reality you could complete one without having to complete a previous one.

It's not perfect, but then again, who expects it to be?

In my opinion, the following could have been changed:

Less stealth missions and more combat in destroyed villages and towns. I HATE stealth missions.

Take out the tank level.

Too many sniper levels, except for 'Sniper Alley' - that was sweet.

When in a base, you should be able to catch some Nazis off guard, instead, they're all standing in a corridor with their weapons drawn, waiting for you and they open fire as soon as they see movement.

Random AI positioning.

A damage model, and perhaps a little, realistic amount of blood. I mean, when you shoot a guy in the head, there's going to be a puff of blood. No need to be like HL.

Anyway, that's my two cents.
