C'mon, are you guys telling me you watch SPR and those films to commerate the veterans? I don't think so. You watch them because you like them, they are entertaining. You do not watch a movie to commerate veterans. You go to ceremonies or maybe watch a documentary, but thats even pushing it.

Hollywood is not there to tell stories, they are there to make money. They make money through making entertaining movies which we all like to see. I doubt anyone in Hollywood has seriously ever said lets make a movie to commerate this person etc. and not thought about the amount of money it would make or how entertaining it would be.
