The missing element here is that the consumer would have to buy into the conspiracy. Kind of like the original idea behind divx. The video companies were trying to make all movies rentals as a type of pay-per-view. There was no purchasing of movies. They wanted you to pay every time you watched a movie. Consumers said HELL NO and the idea faded into obscurity. Micobitch tries to cram this down our throat and linux will boom, alternative OSes will flood the market, hardware wont sell and times will change. I guess Microbitch is feeling a little cocky after their anti-trust victory. And the editorial is a bit on the gloom and doom side.
