About this hypothetical conflict:

Interesting to see how some think Europe will invade the USA, and some think the opposite. As it is now, Europe (EU) lacks coherence to invade the USA. So, most likely (if such a probability even exists), the USA will start the war. And that is why they will loose. In the end.

Also interesting: What will happen after the war? Controlling over 300 million Europeans will not be easy. Certainly not if you take Asia in account. Will China strengthen their bonds with Europe or with America. Chances are it will be the former. Goes for many other nations as well. What will happen to the US' economy? It will collapse. Remember: America is spending far more than it produces per year (other nations' investments make this possible). No money is no army. Is no food. Et cetera.

This is only one argument, there are many more. Only viewing the military side of this conflict is far too hypothetical. Trying to take all variables in account is far too difficult. There are just too many.

So, my conclusion:

The bad boys will loose, in the end. Just like Germany lost in WWII. Just like the Roman empire collapsed.
