Given ideal conditions (zero wind) a sniper still has to calculate for drop, fancy scope or no fancy scope. Add windage into the calculation (the trees do move in the wind in MoH don't they) and the shooter needs real skill, even more so if he's using a crude scope.
MoH models none of that. Using the sniper rifle in MoH you might as well be firing a lethal laser beam. It's a sham of a weapon and should either be patched so it's real or totally removed from the code. Do it properly or don't bloody bother.
