If you take a look at the guys with the most kills, they are the guys with the shotties and the SMGs and the rifles. Snipers are good for those other snipers! In close combat, sniper rifles are NO good...and forget about it when you are outnumbered; a smart opposing team should be able to take out a sniper when the numbers are in their favor.
