I actually like the round-based multiplayer better than spawn-a-second deathmatches. The penalty of waiting until the end of the round is a good incentive to play more carefully and deliberately. Careless players will be the ones doing more waiting than playing. It's as simple as that. At least that's how I see it. For the most part round-based games will slow the action down to the point where tactics are a must. The better players are usually the ones left standing, and to me it gives me great pleasure to play more than I wait.
Plus, it's more addicting too. :P
Q: How do you get to Carnegie Hall?
Anybody who knows the answer to this will know what I'm talking about.
