OK, I'll conceed that he wasn't a full fledged OSS operative, but he was "...picked for a mission few would accept and even fewer could survive." Or something like that. So, when then, would they send such an important man to do a job the other troops could have completed? It doesn't make sense, but it's a minor complaint.
