BS. It was HUGE before you could buy it in stores as a stand along game. It was the most played online FPS before you could buy it in stores and it still is the most played online FPS by a long shot.

Very true they wouldn't. However, I have played a number of realism mods and so far they aren't as FUN as CS for me. Apparently thousands of people agree. Even the mods that are just copies of CS for other engines are barely comparable. Don't forget, one of the key things that makes CS great is the limits of the Half-life engine. They couldn't make large maps so they didn't. This kept the game fast paced and exciting. Multiplayer online games and mods that have too large of maps just can't compare. Even CS can't compare to its old self because the newer engine updates have made for maps that are larger and more complex, thus actually making the game a little less fun.

Every online game is full of idiots and cheaters. Not quite sure why you are worried about that.

Yeah, but who has the time to track down them all and invest the time to learn to play them all well when you already have one or two great mods that you can find and master just by looking for what is currently most popular.

I am looking forward to seeing some good MOHAA mods. I am just sorry they chose the very aged Q3 engine for this game. It really limits the potential of mods for this game.
