Yeh, that was my take on it.

I got to page 4 I think before I realised how sad they were.

Signing a legal binding document over the material in a modification for a game online? That is likely never to make a single penny in revenue?

And then having a hissy fit bitching flame war over it on their own forum with their "fans" calling for blood and answers like it fucking matters.

For fuck sake, what is this world coming to?

Give kids the internet and they think they're some kind of proffesionals with a real and important role in society. When all they are is a bunch of wannabes trying to get "famous" to another bunch of anonymous wannabes.
