Shit, I LOVED my NES.
I just downloaded a SNES emulator a week ago, and since then, I've clocked SMB3 (One of the greatest games, EVER.), Super Mario World, and SMB2......I'm about to have a go on the original SMB, the one I could never finish back in the day. (Level 8-2 always fucking killed me.)
....All the above games are on SNES's "Super Mario All-Stars."
I have SOOO many memories of playing NES and SNES games. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, is still absolutely stunning, and beautiful for its time......Still VERY playable.

I think the contacts on them old consoles weren't soldered in too well, so smacking, kicking, or otherwise jolting it usually solved the problem (or if it worked already, made it stop working)
