I've played both sided of Omaha, and just for kicks tried to snipe as both ally and axis. (This only after I was totally burnt out from running up after the guns or fighting allied advance in the hallways) And I have to say on a crowded server, allied sniping is useless because the Germans respawn very close to everything, where the allies sometimes have to cover the entire beach after spawning. So allied sniping of the few Germans who are not by the guns or underground is pointless, and helps lose the mission. But there will always be people who don't care. I've seen bombs planted on the guns and 3/4 of the german team still just sitting picking off advancing allies, not even trying to disarm the bombs. But, overall its fun worth the $ to me.
