I did that in high school,
I had first hour gym and I was stupid enough to stay in class instead of trying to get out early for "medical reasons"

by 6th hour (I was TA for chemistry class so I had to be on my feet) I could barely move around, fortunately my teacher (also a basketball coach) noticed and relieved me of usual duties.
