My grandpa was in the Polish army. He was attacked by Ukraninans by surprise. Then he was captured my the Germans and worked in a coal mine. Hmmm... my whole family was somehow involved in the war. My uncle was a patrizan. He got shot across the chest. My other uncle stole a backpack from a Wermacht soldier. He got free pijamas, and some books about architecture. My greatgrandpa fought in World War 1 for the Austrians.
