[quote="ED!":b1132]Zoner I think had the same happen to him. You're pulled in two directions from two different sites with two different styles to them. Not suprisingly he chose the style he has more "loyalty" (?) to. And that's fine. But again, this rankled the natives and those who slugged it out in the gutters of OT before he became admin. You can call that a petty response if you want, but to just dismiss complaints against mods as "jealousy" or 'hatred' - gimme a break. That shows a weakness in leadership to do so.[/quote:b1132]
I'm not sure I get your meaning, but I will say this: I tried to do the admin job the best way I saw fit. I tried to conduct myself with honesty, integrity, and common sense. A couple of threads arose when people had problems with the way I was doing the job. What did I do? I posted a sincere message asking peoples' suggestions as to how I could do my job better. You know what response I got? I got something along the lines of this:
"OMFG!!11 make me a mod!!"
"There are too many fucking mods!!11"
"STFU cock purse!"
"Anyone play Vice City yet? It roxX0rz!"
So, naturally, I decided to continue doing things the way I thought I should do them.
My affiliation with AAN never once affected the way I admined this site. Not once. They never pressured me to do or say anything with regards to my actions as an aa.com admin. It was never even an issue.
