What are your symptoms, exactly? Does mohaa crash when you click on the Save/Load button from the Main menu, or does it crash after you've selected a game to save/load?

I run XP Pro and don't have this problem.
Could it be a corrupted install of the game?
Try reinstalling it.
Could it be you've got write caching on? Switch it off and see how it goes.
There's also a memory setting in BIOS that can cause hard disk corruption.
Without further info it'll be hard to troubleshoot your problem.
