Ever - I've had the continous shooting problem in RtCW, but not as much as I've had it in MoHAA. Kinda freaked me out the first time it happened (and I only play FF RtCW, which can be a real problem - got me bootprints in the backside on more than one occasion).
Re: mouse, get a mousepad that has all one color / surface reflection. You'll never have the problem again! If only all the issues had such easy cures....
