[quote:883d5]why again should piracy be ISPs' main concern?
Does it cause more monetary damage than hackers?
what about viruses?
do you have proof that it caouses more damage?[/quote:883d5]
Do you have proof that it doesnt. No see I'm not gonna use that kinda bullshit logic I'll let you take that route. Youre arguing an intagible point my friend, one that deals in unquantifiable values. I'm looking at fact. FACT is people are breaking the law. Fact is law enforcement agencies are chartered to go after these people who break the law. Fact is potential sales COULD translate into real dollars and real dollars arent going to their rightful owners. Fact is there already are divisions in the FBI to handle BOTH cases presented before you so NO there are no "omg put down that Hacker-Tracer-2000B Bob, we've got Kazaa users to catch!". Fact is as harmful as hackers are, there are CARTELS of music/softare/digital media providers operating in more than one country, and the trafficking of this information is big business.
[quote:883d5]Why do you love hackers so much that you want them to be a secondary priority of ISP?[/quote:883d5]
Actually - you're the one arguing that there are definable priorities and that one is robbing the other when that is the farthest from the truth. The fact of the matter is, much like with murder, rape, etc - cant combat it until it occurs.
[quote:883d5]Don't answer that, you're one of the fools who was involved in the "NWO" bullshit that went down here (an illegal takeover I might add) so who are you to talk about illegal internet activities.[/quote:883d5]
Illegal? What was so illegal about giving another person admin powers who then used those admin powers. Interesting. It was done before. Seems you're batting .000 with your "facts" there buddy. Here's my interpretation of Stryker -
