I would recommend setting PING to <200 as a start. Then to test the game pick a server ( could be home machine ) with about 2 to 4 players. When entering the game check your own ping with TAB. If you are under 150 then you should play fairly well. I was in one server with 151 and it had a tad of lag. The other four I played on had pings of less than 60 and it was fun. I bet a coordinated attack by Allies or Axis using smoke grenades would be a frigging blast. But then again, not many people play like a squad. They play like a gaggel.
