[quote:c89f4]I can't speak towards Joes comments, but there is NO racist tones in Hollys. Please explain how saying "He is the Black mans/womens Elvis" is racist?[/quote:c89f4]

You know what goes on in that mans mind 100 percent? You the Great Kreski or something. I'm sure hell easily backpedal and "reexplain" his comments - but the sublte veiled racism is there, the same kind of racism that rears its ugly head in "normal" folk who dont really mean it, or mean it "that" way. "Black mans Elvis" - way to single out an entire race of people that only liked this man. Way to generalize that this "negro music" could only be related to by the "negroes". Its not as if a huge contingent of "white folk" worshipped the ground this man walked on. I mean we all know that Whites like nice White music like Britney and Aerosmith and The Stones.

It's there - whether you want to see it or not is all your perogative. Just gives me a "real world" reason to not like this piece of crap.
