I agree. Games that have "relavence" to events or topics either present or past give more of an emmercive experience while playing, it gives more of a sence of purpose rather than just a means of passing time.

I like the idea that games such as MOH attempt to instruct as to the meaning (historically) these battles played in our history and those that were involved. In some cases it may give a "feeling" as a textbook cannot, the sacrifices many have given.

With that in mind let us not forget that we are playing a game,,,,, but that these diversions are based on the real experiences of those who fought and died just so we can have the freedom to enjoy such diversions.
