here in ontario its compleatly retarted. for me with a full lisence & no young driver training to insure my 4 door 1989 dodge aries shit box would cost me over $4950 a year with all the coverage set to low. its fucking rediculous! & its not as though their going broke or anything here is a quote from the article below. so much for the "we lost so much money due to 9/11" excuse for jacked prices.

[quote:193c9]n the first six months of this year, Canada's home and auto insurance companies enjoyed a $1.1-billion profit, up 338.7% from a year ago, while second-quarter earnings hit $644 million, up a staggering 486.5% from the same quarter of 2002. These numbers, by the way, come from the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC).[/quote:193c9]

PS: anyone from ontario may want to read this: http://www.canoe.ca/NewsStand/TorontoSu ... 98369.html[/quote:193c9]

For my 01 Grand Am I'm paying $210 a month. It actually went down $40
Of course it would be higher if I told my insurrance company that I moved off base and like in town. But what they don't know won't hurt them. biggrin:
