Steamboat Willy and the guy that stabbed Mellish ARE NOT THE SAME PEOPLE! they don't even look alike...they wear different uniforms and their faces look completely different. you can even tell when Steamboat Willy see's Upham, he says "Upham" like he's almost surprised to see him...if Willy had just seen Upham on the stairs, why would he be acting like that? but back to the face thing. Willy's face looks a lot more sharp and is kinda the face that all Americans learned to hate during World War II. you know, the kinda guy that looks like a rat. the guy that stabbed Mellish had a rounded face and was completely different from the American view of a German soldier. they werent trying to make him a bad guy like they were with Steamboat Willy. ok, that's kinda confusing...but still
