OK, KingWade, If I may get you down from your High-Horse for just a moment and point out a few of the more pertinent points of what i wrote;

At what point did i state that "We should hate Japan"? I gave an example of a facet of Japanese history that was probably just a touch more offensive than Tentacle-rape Cartoons. In addition, I should like to point out that Germany has not only apologised about the Holocaust, they teach about it in their schools in the hope that this sort of wholesale Genocide won't occur again. Not only is the Japanese Government unwilling to apologise to the victims of it's war crimes, on many occasions it denies that said war crimes ever even happened.

Man, I must have a way with words, being able to convey all that ignorance in a 20-word post. Again, your majesty, you appear to be putting words in my mouth, or indeed typing them on my keyboard. I never stated that countries such as Canada, England, America, etc were blameless. This was, however, a thread about Japan. It would have looked a bit out-of-place if, at the end of my post, i had stated "Oh, by the way, The RAF and USAF killed over 100,000 civilians on a bombing raid over the German city of Dresden."

This is an admirable enough sentiment, but you're directing it at the wrong person. There have to be a plethora of people on this board more ignorant than I to give this pearl of wisdom to.
