well. Hitler felt the same way about shotguns as most of u guys do. Back in WW2 the usual combat engineer was handed a shotgun to use in the field. now this weapon was so devastating at close range it seemed almost unfair on the battlefield. Now Hitler's engineers were usually equipped with the Mauser. And after looking at this many casualties in the field he decided that this was against the gentlemenly rules of war. So he tried getting it banned at the genuva convention. Fortunately it was never banned and the combat engineers fought on with this powerful weapon.
