The Cenotaph in downtown Calgary was defaced yesterday morning as well. The Cenotaph is a monument erected to honour those killed in WWI WWII and the Korean War. They were scrambling to clean it up because there was going to be a ceremony there at about noon. I think they got it cleaned up before. I can understand people wanting to protest, but that is the wrong way to do it. They wouldn't be abe to do those things if regular citizens haden't fought for their freedom. Kind of ironic. Monuments represent the sacrifices made by those who fought for the better of our country, not the glorification or approval of wars.
