As I said in another post,my brothers father-in-law was there.

From just before Normandy till the end of the war.He said they had one bazooka in the company and they used it alot.

He also said during the whole war he never saw a scope on a rifle.Snipers were just the best shots they had with open sights.

He never saw a shot gun used or carried and he cleaned out a lot of towns.

I believe him and you can take it for what it's worth.
