i saw dis as well,
I was on the map of the village
I was looking around with my sniper and barely saw an enemy moving around so i shot him. When he didn't die I started to fret,
then he emerged from behind a wall! I had been seeing him through the wall haha.

This happens in single player too - the germans can sometimes see you from several rooms away and start shooting at a wall and then you come into the room and see all these marks on the wall where they have been shooting at you even though you were far away haha.
