If you have an ATI card, install the drivers WITHOUT removing the old ones. The extra file or two you end up with mean nothing.

First time you use your graphics, change the ATI into Direct 3D Mode. Its actually better.

Once you play the game, you should be able to revert back to openGL if you like.
